STERLING HEIGHTS — Freedom Hill Amphitheatre, one of the region’s premier outdoor entertainment venues, announced today that it is adding teen popstar Austin Mahone to this season’s 2014 Summer lineup.
At just 18 years old, singer/songwriter Austin Mahone is making his mark. Kicking off the year with an MTV VMA win for “Artist to Watch” and MTV EMA awards for, “Best Push Artist,” and “Artist on the Rise,” Mahone released his second EP,“The Secret” in May which includes the single “Mmm Yeah” featuring Pitbull. Not only does he have a solid fan base, known as “Mahomies,” but the teen sensation is gaining a legion of loyal fans in the media as well.
Mahone will perform with special guests 5th Harmony, Shawn Mendes, and DJ Alex Angeloat will perfrom on September 10.
Tickets go on sale Friday, June 27 at 10 a.m.
