DETROIT— Kitch Drutchas Wagner Valitutti & Sherbrook has announced that Suzanne D. Nolan has joined the firm’s Detroit office.
Nolan’s association will add further strength to the firm which has nearly 100 attorneys based in offices located throughout the Great Lakes region including Lansing, Mount Clemens, Marquette, Toledo, and Chicago.
With the addition of Nolan, who is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the Kitch firm has added significant depth to its intellectual property practice and computer, information technology and communications law practice. Additionally, Nolan has substantial experience and regularly performs legal services for healthcare providers and technology companies on a wide variety of transactional and regulatory compliance matters including entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, real estate, contracts, and corporate governance.
Combining these skills and experience, Nolan will devote a substantial portion of her practice to advising and assisting health care providers on the creation, protection and licensing of all types of intellectual property, the development, distribution, buying, selling and licensing of technology goods and services, and on health care information technology including the privacy and security of healthcare information.
Nolan received her J.D. from Wayne State University, magna cum laude; a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from Wayne State University; and an M.A. in psychology from Wayne State University. She also received a B.S. from the University of Michigan.
