Cass Community Social Services, a major provider of services to low-income families throughout the Detroit region, received $15,000 from AT&T officials on Monday.

“Hunger is a serious challenge for many families in our area, particularly during the winter months,” says the Rev. Faith Fowler, director of Cass Community Social Services. “Our food pantry is particularly active over the holidays, so AT&T’s contribution could not have come at a better time.”

In addition to offering a food pantry, Cass Community Social Services provides housing, health services, and job programs.

“AT&T believes every Michigan resident deserves the best possible quality of life, no matter what their strengths and challenges may be,” says Jim Murray, AT&T Michigan president. “Cass Community Social Services shares that belief and works hard to ensure families get the support they need. We are honored to offer our financial contribution to help leverage their efforts.”
