BERKLEY — The Astute Artistry Makeup School has moved from Farmington Hills to Berkley on W. 12 Mile Rd. and will open Monday.
“We are both excited and proud having moved into the heart of the Berkley Shopping District and continue our efforts as the top certified makeup school in the Midwest,” says Astute Artistry CEO Lisa Glickoff.
The nationally recognized school is the only licensed trade school in Michigan for fashion, film, and makeup, and teaches makeup for film and television, body painting, props and mold making, and fashion and wardrobe. Spa services such as peels, lashes, waxing, and hair styling are also offered.
As part of the opening, which runs the entire week of Jan. 19, appetizers, wine, and coffee will be offered to visitors. Discounts on all retail products, complementary eyebrow shaping, hair blowouts, and mini-makeup applications will also be available. Everyone who attends will be entered into a raffle and one winner, to be picked at the end of the week, will receive a host of free services.
