ANN ARBOR — Melinda R. DeSantis has joined Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione’s Ann Arbor office as an associate attorney. She had been a summer associate at Brinks in 2012.
DeSantis will focus her practice on patent prosecution in the areas of biotechnology and pharmaceutical and chemicals, energy, and agriculture. During law school, DeSantis served as an IP intern for a boutique law firm, on-site at the Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, and also as a judicial extern for the 35th District Court in Plymouth.
DeSantis received her law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2013. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from the University of Michigan.
