SOUTHFIELD — Assets International, an asset recovery company specializing in locating missing heirs, oil, gas and mineral rights owners as well as other beneficiaries, have named Karla Bledsoe as energy industry relations manager.
Bledsoe, of Commerce, will utilize her international business experience, investigative credentials and fluency in English, Spanish and Portuguese to foster relationships with corporations in the energy industry to help match beneficiaries with oil, gas and mineral rights.
“We are very pleased to add Karla to our team of experts,” said company president Michael Zwick. “Her unique and specialized background makes her a very valuable asset to the work we do at Assets International.”
Prior to joining Assets International, Bledsoe was director of South American Operations for Indianapolis-based Continental Enterprises where she worked to locate and expose cases of intellectual property infringement around world. Previous to that, she worked as an investigative television reporter in Brazil for more than three years before moving to the United States in 2003. She holds a bachelor of arts and master of arts degree in communications and journalism from Instituto de Educação Superior de Brasília.
