Asian Pacific American Chamber Names New Treasurer

STERLING HEIGHTS — The Asian Pacific American Chamber of Commerce has named Congjie Ku as treasurer. 

In addition to being a member of the chamber for more than seven years, Ku also serves as principal of UHY LLP, a certififed public accounting firm, where she is a member of the audit and assurance department. 

The chamber is an organization that represents Asian Pacific American businesses that have origins which include Asians, Pacific Islanders, and those of subcontinent Asian ancestry. The chamber, governed by an 18-member board of directors, is comprised of Fortune 500 corporations, multi-ethnic private business enterprises, small businesses, and corporate professionals in a broad spectrum of industries.

Ku received her bachelor’s in international accounting and finance from the International School of Shanghai University. She received her master’s in accounting from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and she is a licensed CPA in Michigan.
