Artist Recognized for Achievements by Oakland County

BIRMINGHAM — Local artist Weatherly Stroh has been selected as one of Oakland County’s 40 under 40 for 2013.

Stroh, an oil painter and sculptor, specializes in landscapes and custom animal portraits. A lifelong animal lover, Stroh is member of the Michigan Humane Society’s Bow Wow Brunch Committee and donates a portion of her annual sales to the organization. In addition, Stroh is a supporter of the Cranbrook educational community, the Detroit Institute of the Arts, Banbury Cross, and the Detroit Artist Market.

The Michigan native returned to her home state in 2012 after 20 years of living in Colorado. Stroh currently works out of her Birmingham studio.
