WARREN – The golden shovel turned on Woodward Avenue on Tuesday, May 15, when Art Van Furniture executives gathered for a ceremonial ground breaking of the furniture store’s design center, Scott Shuptrine Interiors. Local dignitaries and city officials were also on hand. The expansion of the Royal Oak store will transform a large portion of the parking structure into a magnificent Scott Shuptrine Interiors showplace. It will feature an amazing grand staircase, sculptural ceiling, and dozens of elegant amenities to assure a pleasurable, first-class shopping experience.

In addition to the new Woodward store, Scott Shuptrine Interiors is also located inside 3 other Art Van stores including Warren, Grand Rapids, and Petoskey. The Scott Shuptrine showrooms feature a retail floor, an interior design studio, and a custom design shop. The stores offer upscale products and services to fit practically every design taste.

The new store, located at 32301 N. Woodward, is scheduled to open in October 2012.
