ROYAL OAK —Join hundreds of walkers, runners, and volunteers at Royal Oak High School on Sept. 6 for the annual Gilda’s Club Walk & 5K Run supporting men, women, and children living with cancer.
The event is for friends and family members of all ages and fitness levels. Enjoy a healthy walk or run and most importantly support families touched by cancer. Lace up your walking or running shoes and come join us in support of our great mission! Together we can provide free social and emotional support for men, women and children living with cancer and their families and friends.
Gilda’s Family Walk & Run begins with an inspirational opening ceremony followed by a 5K run and walk. Upon reaching the finish line, walkers will enjoy apost-walk celebration with activities, food and much more.
Registartion is open at 7:30 a.m. and the start is at 9 a.m.

Gilda’s Club Metro Detroit provides free social and emotional support for: men, women, and children living with cancer, their families and friends.
