The Community House in Birmingham will host its 28th annual Birmingham House Tour on Sept. 24. Proceeds from the tour will be used to fund outreach programs.
This year’s House Tour presents seven spectacular private residential homes, showcasing a diversity of extraordinary architecture and interior design styles. The styles featured range from a sophisticated 1920s Tudor accented by exquisite designer details and fine furniture to a rare behind the scenes look at a cozy artist’s retreat located in a tranquil garden setting.
As an added feature, a light luncheon buffet, prepared by the fine The Community House culinary team will be served from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at The Community House. The cost to attend both the tour and luncheon is $55 in advance; $60 day of the tour.
Hall & Hunter Realtors are presenting sponsors of the Birmingham House Tour, which runs from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. The cost per person is $40 in advance or $45 the day of the tour. Advance reservations are recommended; tickets are limited and the event does sell out. Additional sponsors for the event include Gorman’s, Ethan Allen, Scott Shuptrine Interiors, Sterling Development Corp., and Detroit Home magazine.
