Ann Arbor’s Clinc, an artificial intelligence technology company, has appointed Jon Newhard as CEO. He will oversee growth, customer success strategy, and building out the engineering, marketing, and product teams with Michigan talent.

“Conversational AI is revolutionizing the financial services industry, helping to personalize and improve the customer experience, an important part of digital transformation,” says Newhard. “This massive addressable market presents a great opportunity for Clinc’s world-leading AI technology and its talented people. I couldn’t be more excited to join the team during this time.”

Newhard was previously CEO of Trafficware, where he led customer success, product innovation, and the financial growth. He has more than 25 years of experience in information technology and has held senior leadership positions with Cubic Corp., New World Systems, and Kaplan Compliance Solutions.

After completing bachelor’s degrees in economics and engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, Newhard earned a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

Clinc was founded in 2015 and specializes in conversational artificial intelligence.
