Livonia-based AMI Strategies has hired 12 new employees to support the needs of clients as they adjust to challenges of remote work, 5G, and device proliferation; fill gaps in departments that were downsized as a result of the pandemic; and continue building the company’s suite of technical solutions.

“While other organizations might be pulling back on hiring in these tough times, we’re embracing them to strategically position ourselves to confront the new realities that our clients are facing,” says Jane Sydlowski, president and CEO. “Having already invested in the technology and the infrastructure components, our next step was to hire a team that could go out and help our clients meet their specific challenges head on.”

Some of the new hires in the mobility space are: Stephen Collins, director of partner channels and alliances; Cameron Gilchrist, solutions engineer; Shahbaz Chaudhary, channel sales manager, west; Katie Dunn, channel sales manager, east; and Fred Matos and Kyle Rae, mobility help desk specialists. They will work to refine the AMI approach, serve clients, develop new solutions to meet client needs, and pursue partnerships. Mobility management challenges include how to implement 5G technologies, how to anticipate and manage the increasing scope of mobile devices, and how to support the security and provisioning issues that accompany remote employees and learners.

AMI has also introduced Candy Burris, senior sales executive; Holly Mustion, sales executive; Paula Owens, client service analyst; and David Alm, product support representative; to round out its technology expense management team. With nearly 30 years of experience developing expense management solutions and software, AMI helps clients who are looking to automate parts of their accounts payable departments or fill gaps in their internal teams.

Additionally, AMI has hired Cameron Youngblood, software developer, and Ria Rogers, executive assistant to the CEO, to support its technology and operations divisions.

“We’re glad to welcome these new additions to AMI and leverage their unique perspectives to drive our company forward,” says Sydlowski.

AMI Strategies partners with clients to manage their technical, financial, and operational processes and data. AMI has been headquartered in Michigan for more than 29 years.
