DEARBORN — The American Society of Employers will hold a one-day human resources seminar focused on global mobility issues at the University of Michigan-Dearborn on Aug. 19.

“Recruiting and retaining top talent is a key issue in HR today, but the global worker can demand even more attention due to the investments being made by both the company and the employee,” says Mary E. Corrado, CEO of the American Society of Employers. “That’s why it’s important for HR decision makers to stay on top of the latest news and trends in global HR best practices.”

The seminar will cover unforeseen issues with visas, the nature of employment laws, compensating and tax equalization, how mobility packages influence global talent management and career growth, and managing the international risks of a global equity program.
