LIVONIA —The  American Society of Employers, one of the nation’s oldest and largest employer associations, is planning its fifth annual Compensation and Benefits Conference will be held on next month at the VistaTech Center at Schoolcraft College in Livonia.

ASE CEO Mary E. Corrado notes the competition for talent is fierce and organizations need to stay current on compensation and benefits to become and remain employers of choice.

“Human resources professionals have faced numerous challenges in recent years, but the need to stay in step with current best practices when it comes to pay and benefits remains a constant for all organizations,” Corrado says. “The Compensation and Benefits Conference will provide a timely look into pay and benefit trends and engage attendees with information that has immediate applicability.”

Specifically, conference attendees will be able to:

  • Learn best practices in compensation and benefits
  • Network with peers and subject matter experts in the field of total rewards
  •  Identify ways to make a meaningful impact on their organization’s bottom line

Additionally, ASE will reveal the results of its 2015 compensation surveys. It is the 63rd year the surveys have been published.

“ASE’s annual compensation and benefits surveys are a critical tool in helping Michigan companies set pay and benefit standards,” Corrado says. “The conference’s deep dive into the survey results always creates a buzz among conference participants because they want to make sure their company is keeping pace, if not setting the pace.”
