Southfield-based Alteris Group and Ford Motor Co. were awarded a Bronze Medal for the Best Advance in Mobile Learning Technology at the 2015 Brandon Hall Group Excellence in Technology Awards.
With its new, award-winning 2016 Ford Truck Component Guide App, Ford and Alteris Group were able to transform a traditional data book into an integrated 21st century, interactive, feature-rich tablet app that provides dealership commercial sales personnel with the resources they need to learn about the new truck, present its features to customers, and respond to fleet customer bid requests.

Instead of just static information, Ford now has an app that provides media-rich content to its sales personnel that includes: High-res images, video footage, interactive 3-D models, dimensional illustrations, data tables and graphs, documents, brochures, forms, as well as the ability to set and organize favorite pages for quick reference with customers; the capability to share assets with customers via customizable messaging interface; and is availabile on iPad, Android tablet, and Windows 8.1 tablet in native format for offline-capable use.
