TROY — Brent Eastman and Tom Nixon, founders of Alchemy Group and LV8 Communications, have announced the merger of the two companies. Going forward, both brands will operate under the name Alchemy Group.
Working as a creative director for most of his 25 year career, Eastman specializes in bringing continuity to messaging throughout all aspects of marketing execution. He has created and launched products and services that range from consumer goods to business-to-business services, from the U.S. to Japan.
Nixon has served in various capacities at marketing agencies and PR firms in metro Detroit through out his 20 years in thepublic relations industry, most recently in a leadership capacity with integrated marketing agency Identity. Under his direction, he helped to build a diverse set of service offerings to complement the traditional PR firm’s capabilities, working to establish and grow the agency’s social media division, the firm’s creative department, and collaborating with Eastman to build the company’s brand strategy division.
