Alan C. Rudzewicz Named Director, Trust, Estate, Gift Planning at Fenner, Melstrom and Dooling

Birmingham’s Fenner, Melstrom and Dooling named Alan C. Rudzewicz director of trust, estate, and gift planning. He will support the firm’s clients with estate legal matters.

Rudzewicz joined FMD after retiring from practicing law in late 2020. He is member of the probate/estate planning and taxation sections of the State Bar of Michigan.

He is the current president of the Financial and Estate Planning Council of Macomb and has held roles in the Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and National Bank of Detroit.

Rudzewicz brings more than 40 years of experience in law, particularly in estate planning, estate tax, probate and trust administration, corporate law, business planning, and real estate. He has advised businesses and executives on business formation, legal compliance, family and succession planning, and sales and acquisitions.

Rudzewicz has also represented and counseled families on probate administration, estate planning, wills, powers of attorney, trusts, special needs planning, gift planning, estate and gift tax, and asset protection.

He is a graduate of De La Salle Collegiate High School in Warren, Western Michigan University with Bachelor of Business Administration. He received his juris doctor degree from the Detroit College of Law, now called the Michigan State College of Law.
