Airfoil Names New Detroit Vice President

DETROIT —  Airfoil, an integrated marketing communications firm for technology and innovation brands, has promoted Tim Wieland to a vice president position. He served as account director for the firm prior to assuming his new role.

Wieland, based in the firm’s Detroit headquarters for 10 years, has driven strategy for and helped grow key agency accounts including Microsoft Small and Midsized Businesses, eBay, Parrot, Faurecia, and FordDirect. In his new position as vice president, he is responsible for identifying new business opportunities for the firm’s growing consumer and automotive rosters, helping clients capitalize on the convergence of these two industries, and driving organic growth through his leadership of current client programs.

Andy Kill was also appointed a vice president after serving as an account director with the company. In his new position, he will be responsible for setting and executing the firm’s business strategy in the Silicon Valley region, in addition to leadership of the teams managing the firm’s West Coast client programs.
