EAST LANSING— Anderson Economic Group – a Michigan leading economic, finance, and market analysis consulting firm – announced that Alex Rosaen has been promoted to senior consultant and named director of public policy and economic analysis.
Rosaen, who joined AEG in 2007, previously served as a consultant and as interim director of public policy and economic analysis at the firm.
“Alex has an exceptional mind in the areas of applied economics and public finance,” said AEG Principal and CEO Patrick Anderson. “Lately, he’s been doing exceptional work in the realm of economic and financial impact analyses, analysis of tax incentives, and more. We’re thrilled to have him in this leadership role.”
Prior to joining Anderson Economic Group, Rosaen worked for the Office of Retirement Services (part of the Michigan Department of Management and Budget) for the Benefit Plan Design group. He has also worked as a mechanical engineer for Williams International in Walled Lake.
Rosaen holds a Masters in Public Policy from the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan. He also has a Masters of Science and a Bachelors of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan.
