Altimetrik in Detroit, a pure-play digital business services company, appointed Adam Caplan as president of its digital business and AI offerings.
Caplan will report to Raj Sundaresan, CEO of Altimetrik. His appointment aligns with Altimetrik’s business growth plan as the company sees increased demand for its services across pharmaceutical, manufacturing, retail, financial services, and other industries.
“Adam is a proven leader and brings a wealth of experience in leading digital and AI initiatives, making him an invaluable addition to our team,” says Sundaresan. “Adam has the experience to foster enterprise-wide collaboration and agility that businesses are looking for as they take the ownership to accelerate their digital and AI efforts. Altimetrik has established itself as a strategic partner with a track record of delivering digital business outcomes for customers, Adam’s appointment will contribute significantly in delivering results.”
Caplan has worked in enterprise technology adoption for more than 20 years. Most recently, he served as the senior vice president of Salesforce AI in San Francisco, a role that helped build and launch Salesforce’s GenAI products.
Additionally, he spearheaded the establishment of the go-to-market team for AI, providing strategic guidance on GenAI strategy and utilization, ensuring ethical and trusted implementation to achieve true return on investment.
Caplan also managed emerging technologies, Web3, and the professional services organization for Salesforce. He is a member of the World Economic Forum’s metaverse governance steering committee and chaired Salesforce’s Gen AI advisory board and Web3 advisory board. Caplan earned his MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and his undergraduate degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
