Abbey Berryman is joining NBCUniversal as senior vice president of client partnerships, specializing in automotive and insurance. She will be based out of NBCUniversal’s office in Detroit.
Within the automotive and insurance categories, she serves as an advocate for NBCUniversal’s brand partners, as well as a liaison between the brand and NBCU’s evolving portfolio of advertising and partnership offerings.
She has more than 20 years of experience in the industry and served as a senior executive. She has experience with directing business operations, including business development, financial oversight, and talent management.
Berryman previously served as president of global business operations at Denstu Aegis Network, a global media advertising and marketing firm. In seven years with the company, she was also the principal executive on the General Motors account, one of the agency’s largest global clients.
Her experienced also includes five years at Starcom Worldwide, where she focused on strategic national multimedia plans and management for high-volume brands at General Motors. Berryman led the development, execution, and stewardship of large-scale advertising launches of the Cadillac Escalade as well as the Chevolet Cruze and Sonic. She also managed multimedia partnerships such as the Super Bowl and NFL, Billboard Music Awards, MLB and NCAA Football, and more.
Berryman graduated from the Eli Broad School of Business at Michigan State University.
