tDETROIT – The Parade Company and Target announced the largest annual summer tradition in Detroit – the Target Fireworks – will take place on June 25. The Target Fireworks, choreographed by Zambelli Fireworks Internationale, is one of the largest fireworks displays in the world, with more than 10,000 pyrotechnic effects lighting up the international skyline over the Detroit River.
t“We are thrilled to be a part of this great summer tradition in Detroit,” said Target’s group director of stores, John Sheehan. “This sponsorship is just one example of how Target supports our local communities and we are proud to help host this event.”
t“The Target Fireworks is an amazing night in Detroit and one of the largest fireworks shows in the nation happening right along our own beautiful international riverfront,” said Tony Michaels, President & CEO, The Parade Company. “The Parade Company is extremely grateful to Target, Charter One and our other generous sponsors for making the Target Fireworks and VIP Rooftop Party possible. We are honored to produce this event that brings so many people together in a positive way.”
tThe Parade Company’s Official VIP Rooftop Party, presented by Charter One and benefiting the Michigan Thanksgiving Parade Foundation, features entertainment, music, food, games and activities for children and fun for all. This year’s theme is “We Love Detroit,” which will highlight all the wonderful lifestyle activities and traditions that are a part of Detroit and Michigan such as summer, music, water, sports and art.
