tANN ARBOR – The Ann Arbor Art Fair will be held from Wednesday, July 18 through Saturday July 21, 2012. Each year, more than a half a million people converge on the streets of Ann Arbor to enjoy the works of more than a thousand artists.
tEach artist has been selected by an independent jury, consisting of professional artists, professors and gallery owners. As tradition has it, the Art Fair will feature a wide variety of art media, including 2D and 3D-mixed media, drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry and works in metal, stone and wood.
tGuests will also be treated to a number of live performances, children’s activities, artist demonstrations and sidewalk sales from Ann Arbor businesses.
tHours for the event are 10-9 Wednesday – Friday and 10 – 6 Saturday. The art fair will take place throughout downtown Ann Arbor around the central campus of the University of Michigan.
