DETROIT — The 2013 Detroit Knows Cars Automobile Art Exhibit is set to open in the lobby of the Compuware Building on Jan. 4, 2013, featuring about two dozen pieces of art with the automobile as a central theme. This will follow up on last year’s exhibit where 12 of the top automobile artists were featured. It will be the precursor to the subsequent Detroit Knows Cars International Automobile Art Competition planned for 2014. The company is seeking sponsors for both this year’s show and for next year’s competition.
They will host an opening reception for artists, sponsors and supporters on Jan. 11, 2013 as one of the first events to kick off a whole month of automobile activities surrounding the North American International Auto Show.
Current sponsors include TheAutoChannel.com, Compuware, DBusiness Magazine, Wild Rose Pictures, and Shunpiker Productions. If you would like to become a sponsor, you can contact the show producers: Steve Purdy (email@example.com) or Mark Ducker (firstname.lastname@example.org). All sponsors will receive credit in all published materials and at the exhibit.
