WHAT:  The 2010 Business of Plugging InSM conference will gather representatives from utilities, automotive manufacturers and suppliers, investors, regulators, researchers and more to discuss developing a business model and infrastructure that will support the introduction and future growth of plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs).

Taking place in the heart of the Motor City, this event hosts panels and workshops lead by industry experts focused on advancing the PEV market, and an exclusive ride-and-drive opportunity with the latest production-ready PEVs.  Attendees will get a hands-on experience.

The ride-and-drive will feature production, pre-production and concept vehicles in a closed course alongside the Detroit River. In addition to the Chevrolet Volt, Nissan Leaf, Toyota Prius Plug-In and Ford Focus Electric, there will be electric vehicles from ALTe, AMP, BMW, CODA, Protean and smart.
