Dr. Frank Nesi is a pioneer in the field of oculoplastics. He is board certified in Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, which indicates that he has special training and expertise in the subspecialty of ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery. He is a Professor of Ophthalmology at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and is Director of the ASOPRS fellowship program. He also holds a faculty appointment as an Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the Wayne State University School of Medicine and has co-authored one of the go-to textbooks on ophthalmology and oculoplastics for current medical students.
With his colleagues at Consultants in Ophthalmic and Facial Plastic Surgery, PC, Dr. Nesi offers cosmetic eyelid surgery; treatment of lower eyelid “bags”; Botox treatments around the eyes; surgical management of drooping eyelids, eyelid tumors and reconstruction, and lower eyelid malposition.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Nesi is the founder and Chairman of the Alliance for Vision Research, a Michigan nonprofit organization whose mission is “to restore, preserve, and improve vision.” Over the past decade, the organization has raised over $1 million to support local vision researchers and organizations supporting the visually impaired and their families, with a special emphasis on those working with visually impair children.
Consultants in Ophthalmic and Facial Plastic Surgery, PC, has ten locations: Southfield, Troy, Flint, St. Clair Shores, Rochester Hills, Dearborn, Novi, Southgate, Ann Arbor, and Livonia.
