  • Profile

Setting a standard of excellence for more than 25 years, the practice of Joseph R. Nemeth DDS & Associates is dedicated to helping patients achieve the best dental health possible. Specialty services include periodontal (gum disease) treatment, sedation dentistry, dental implants, and cosmetic procedures that improve the harmony between teeth and gums for smile enhancement.

Dr. Nemeth and his associate, Dr. Amar Katranji, utilize advanced diagnostic tools and innovative therapeutic approaches that maximize treatment results and ensure patient comfort.

    The Pinhole Gum Rejuvenation Technique

Introducing the exclusive Pinhole Gum Rejuvenation Technique! This sophisticated procedure for gum recession moves gum tissue into place without the need for the cutting and suturing of traditional gum grafting surgery. With the Pinhole Gum Rejuvenation Technique, patients with gum recession experience immediate pleasing, long lasting results with usually little or no discomfort or downtime. Dr. Nemeth followed by Dr. Katranji were the first periodontists in the State of Michigan to be trained and certified to perform this new technique.

Another innovation, the All-On-Four dental implant technique, uses only four strategically positioned implants to securely hold an entire upper or lower denture.

“We’re one of only a few practices using this technique. It’s a wonderful procedure for patients who have no upper or lower teeth or who must have their teeth removed because of gum disease. They can walk out of the office that same day with a functional set of teeth,” Dr. Nemeth says. “It’s far less expensive and time consuming than placing six to eight implants and waiting six months for the bone to heal before putting crowns on the implants. Patients are extremely happy with this technique.”

Together with Drs. Nemeth and Katranji, the entire staff is dedicated to helping patients preserve their teeth and achieve the healthy and attractive smiles they desire through individualized treatments and personalized care. Patient comfort and satisfaction are always of primary importance.
