University of Michigan Credit Union Breaks Ground on new Branch in Pittsfield Township
Ann Arbor-based University of Michigan Credit Union (UMCU) announced Tiffany Ford, UMCU President and CEO, joined UMCU board members and Mandy Grewal, Pittsfield Township supervisor, to break ground on a new 4,400-square-foot, state-of-the-art branch. Construction is set to begin in May and completed by late 2018.

Winners of Stock-To-Scholarships Challenge
A senior from the International Academy in Bloomfield Hills won the seventh annual Bloomfield Hills Financial Stock-to-Scholarship Challenge. Yashar Ghaffarloo, who took second place in last year’s competition, earned 37 percent on his stock investing strategy and won a $5,000 scholarship for winning the competition in the process.
