The University of Michigan’s 19th Annual Private Equity Conference begins on Oct. 12 with an evening reception hosted by the Women in Private Equity at the University of Michigan Golf Course.

The conference will take place on Oct. 13 at the University of Michigan Union. Hosted by the Center for Venture Capital and Private Equity Finance at the Ross School of Business, the conference attracts hundreds of private equity and institutional finance professionals annually to connect and hear from the nation’s top thought leaders and deal makers.

The event is sponsored by Aon, Honigman, ACG Detroit, Latham Watkins, Sturbridge Capital, Pathlight Capital, and Platinum Equity, and presented in partnership with the Mitsui Life Financial Research Center.

The cocktail reception on Oct. 12 starts at 6 p.m. in the U-M Golf Course Richard Postma Family Clubhouse.

The conference begins at 9 a.m. on Oct. 13 and is scheduled to be finished at 2 p.m. It will take place in the Rogel Ballroom on the second floor of the U-M Union. The event can be attended in-person or virtually by clicking on this REGISTRATION LINK

The event’s keynote speaker will be Chris Keogh, head of the Midwest for Goldman Sachs. He will be interviewed by Sam Valenti, TriMas Corporation CEO, in a fireside chat format.

Panel topics include Partnering with Private Equity from a CEO’s Perspective, Financing a Deal in Today’s Market, and The Impact of Chat GPT and AI on Private Equity.

Panelists and moderators will be announced in the coming weeks.
