Calibo in Troy, a platform as a service (PaaS) developer and provider of end-to-end self-service development and digital business platforms, was granted a patent for a system that identifies value-added services in the software supply chain so those teams can identify bottlenecks and optimize development.
The patent, titled “Architecture for Analysis of Value Stream for Software Products,” is a method of generating value in the software supply chain. In the software supply chain, different activities such as cloud environment provisioning, code commit, automated testing, CI/CD pipeline, and cloud deployment generate artifacts.
From there, the artifacts are correlated with the application developed to identify drift in the software supply chain, derive efficiency, and optimize the overall value chain.
