TechTown Detroit has unveiled a comprehensive new brand identity that reflects its evolution as Wayne State University’s entrepreneurship hub and its commitment to the business community of metro Detroit.

The rebrand, developed in partnership with Detroit-based Zoyes Creative, positions TechTown as “A Home for Detroit’s Entrepreneurs” and emphasizes the organization’s role in fostering economic impact through radical inclusivity and comprehensive entrepreneurial support.

“Every couple of years, our programs have changed because the needs of the entrepreneurs have changed. The city has changed,” says Ned Stabler, vice president of economic development at Wayne State and president and CEO of TechTown. “We need to be able to respond to all the things in the world, and that’s what today is, what’s next, and how to move forward.” He continued during the event.”

The rebranding effort encompasses a new logo, refreshed brand colors, updated signage both online and throughout TechTown’s Midtown building, and a completely redesigned website that launched Oct. 6.

“There are all these advantages people need to know about with our relationship with Wayne State University, and people will have access to all the resources through TechTown, and that’s why we are rebranding,” says Staebler.

In addition to the rebrand, TechTown is expanding its entrepreneurial pathways by supporting business acquisition as a route to ownership, enhanced tech programs, expanded small business support, and new resources:
