Sizeologic Inc. in Houghton, founded in 2021 by Jordan Craven, assists online clothing retailers with the issues of sustainability, returns, customer sizing, and online shopping experiences.
Sizeologic is developing software called The Fitting Room where users can see in 3-D how apparel will fit given their unique body measurements before they make a purchase. The user takes a scan of their body using their iPhone and can see how a size will fit on their body.
Digital scans help minimize waste and product return processing, while boosting the customer’s overall shopping experience by increasing the customer conversion rate and brand loyalty, Craven says.
Currently, Sizeologic has completed the MVP of The Fitting Room, and will be launching an IOS app this month to scan and measure a user’s body. It’s currently patenting the product, while collecting letters of intent from online clothing retailers.
In the next few months, three retailers will be selected to complete beta tests with the goal of converting them into paying pilot customers.
