Opus IVS in Dexter has reached a milestone in the company’s efforts to develop technological innovation in automotive vehicle diagnostics with the filing of its latest patent, which puts its pending patent count past 100.
Opus IVS is the intelligent vehicle support division of the Opus Group, which was formed through the acquisitions of DrewTech, Autologic, Farsight, BlueLink, and AutoEnginuity.
The company works to address the evolving needs of independent repair shops, giving them the ability to get the most complex vehicles back on the road safely and fast without having to send work out to the dealer.
“In 15 short years these companies collectively have innovated to the tune of 100 patents pending,” says Brian Herron, CEO of Opus IVS. “Our 100 patents pending underscores our commitment to the mission of helping customers repair complex vehicles by changing the industry with state-of-the-art technologies and solutions that redefine efficiency, connectivity, and diagnostic access.”
The accomplishment should fortify Opus IVS’s position as an innovation company, continually striving to develop new technology, break barriers, and redefine standards in automotive repair and diagnostics.
Opus IVS will be showing off its latest technology to the industry and the press to celebrate at this year’s Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show to run Oct. 31 – Nov. 3 in Las Vegas.
