Fusion92, a marketing company based in Chicago with offices in Detroit, has acquired Trak Data, a developer of software as a service (SaaS), artificial intelligence-driven, data modeling platforms.
The move is designed to give Fusion92 and its clients access to science-backed, top-performing audience lists that provide improved marketing results.
Trak was founded in Toronto in 2019 by Jessica Akinwale and Brian Tran. Its algorithm uses AI and machine learning techniques to transform manual data science and modeling processes into an automated process. The full Trak team will be retained and join Fusion92’s existing data and analytics department.

The addition of the platform not only offers direct access to SaaS for marketers but also allows users to efficiently combine data science with Fusion92’s end-to-end marketing services, company officials state.
Joining Fusion92 as the vice president of strategy – data science and technology and vice president of data science and technology, respectively, Akinwale and Tran will bring more than 20 years of experience to Fusion92, supporting continued TRAK software growth.

This is the fourth acquisition for Fusion92 since January 2022 and the eighth acquisition overall since Fusion92 was founded in 1999.
