Common Ground, a nonprofit organization that has provided mental health services since 1971, celebrates 50 years of helping people move from crisis to hope. Please join us for this special event at the M1 Concourse in Pontiac on Sunday, Oct. 24, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Celebration of Hope includes drinks, entertainment, strolling dinner, and the option to purchase thrill rides on the 1.5-mile course with a professional driver. COVID-19 safety protocols will be in effect. Proceeds benefit the new Behavioral Health Urgent Care program, which will offer cost-efficient and timely mental healthcare, including a personal evaluation, medication review, crisis intervention, and care coordination. Once operationally established, it is projected that 15,000 individuals per year will be served by this program at a location in south Oakland County. For more details and ticket information, visit

Common Ground, the largest provider of mental health crisis services in Oakland County, is raising $1 million at its 50th-year celebratory event in order to build, develop, and staff a behavioral health urgent care center to address the increasing demand from people facing stress, addiction, and other emotional well-being issues.

Common Ground is looking for partners to help make our 50th anniversary celebration a success. If you or your company are interested in being a part of our mission of helping people move from crisis to hope, please consider purchasing a sponsorship package.

If you’re interested in helping our 50th celebration go off without a hitch, please consider volunteering at our event. On top of donating your time and energy to a worthwhile cause, you’ll also learn about the history of our organization and its 50-year story.
