Event Category: Events

  • Profile

The Michigan Glass Project will host its annual glassblowing and live arts festival July 19-21 for the eighth consecutive year. At the festival, local and national artists and community members will gather to support art programs for children.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Art Road, a nonprofit organization that immerses students in metro Detroit in art instruction. This is the fifth year Art Road has been a beneficiary of The Michigan Glass Project and has received a total of $345,000.

Festival attendees may participate in a silent auction featuring art by glassblowing artists from New York to Los Angeles. An art gallery will showcase paintings, photographs, and prints made and donated at the event. Guests can also enjoy cuisine from local food trucks and a cash bar. Proceeds from the sold, auctioned, or raffled artwork will contribute to the fundraiser.

Weekend passes are available for purchase for $35, day passes for $20, and tickets for after parties are available for $10 at the door.
