Robert Gibbs, president of Gibbs Planning Group and an urban retail planning consultant, will host a workshop examining the proven retail merchandising, design, and management principles used by leading retailers. It will also consider how these strategies can be applied to specialty retailers and downtown shopping districts. The workshop will be based on Gibbs’ Harvard University class on urban retail and his experience with more than 1,000 downtowns around the world. Gibbs has taught the Harvard class for more than 20 years.
The event will be held at the Birmingham Public Schools administration building and presented as part of the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber’s Professional Edge Workshop series.
There is no cost to attend. Registration is available here.
