YWCA’s Evening of Jazz

The YWCA of Metropolitan Detroit hosted its Evening of Jazz on Thursday, Sept. 19 at the Shriners Silver Garden Events Center in Southfield. The event included entertainment by the Alan Day and Friends Jazz Band, food, a silent auction, and a raffle. Proceeds benefited the YWCA Interim House, a temporary emergency shelter for women and their minor children who are victims of intimate partner domestic violence. // Photographs by Christine M.J.
