Women Rock Science 2022

The Cranbrook Institute of Science hosted the fifth annual Women Rock Science event on Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the Cranbrook Institute of Science in Bloomfield Hills. The event raised funds to bring more STEAM programming, delivered by Cranbrook Institute of Science educators, to pre-K to grade 12 students in underserved communities throughout Michigan, including Detroit, Pontiac, Flint, and Southfield. Guests enjoyed hands-on STEAM experiences, a show in the Acheson Planetarium, hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, an open museum including the new “SUE: The T. rex Experience” travelling exhibit, and remarks from honorees.
