Turning Point is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in Mt. Clemens with a mission to provide programs and resources that enable survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault regain control of their lives. It offers emergency shelter, housing, trauma advocacy and counseling, a 24-hour hotline, a forensic nurse examiner program, first response advocacy, personal protection orders, and legal advocacy. The group believes both in responding to the immediate needs of victims and survivors, and utilizing community partnerships and action to end oppression and violence. It also runs Second Hand Rose Resale Shop and uses the proceeds to support its services.
