Turning Point in Mount Clemens is a 501(c)(3) charity whose mission is to help survivors of domestic and sexual violence and human trafficking through comprehensive services and resources while advocating for community action to end oppression and violence. Turning Point is the only domestic shelter in Macomb County, and one of only four in metro Detroit, that specializes in meeting the needs of domestic violence survivors. The group provides a 24/7 hotline, shelter, housing, counseling, trauma advocacy, forensic nursing exams, and more to support survivors and their families.
