THAW 40th Anniversary Kickoff
THAW (The Heat and Warmth Fund) in Detroit hosted its 40th Anniversary Kickoff on April 29 at Lumen Detroit. Some 130 guests attended the event sponsored by Lake Trust in Brighton. THAW is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that distributes assistance to vulnerable Michigan residents through 39 agency partners and a series of annual mobile processing events. For the occasion, Lumen provided an anniversary-related 1985 Signature Cocktail featuring tequila, blood orange, and bubbles. // Photographs by Patrick Gloria
