Ted Lindsay Foundation Celebrity Golf Outing 2024

The Troy-based Ted Lindsay Foundation staged its 23rd annual Celebrity Golf Outing on Sept. 9 at the Detroit Golf Club. The event included an 18-hole scramble, celebrity golfers, lunch on the course, a dinner, an awards program, and silent and live auctions. The late Lindsay, a former star player for the Detroit Red Wings, founded the organization in 2001 after he learned his friend, John Czarnecki’s son, Dominic, was diagnosed with autism at two years old. The foundation was created with the mission to support research and educational programs focusing on the cause and management of autism spectrum disorder. // Photographs by Patrick Gloria
