Shimmer on the River: A Riverfront Reunion 2021

The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy hosted Shimmer on the River: A Riverfront Reunion at the West Riverfront Park on Friday, Sept. 17. Proceeds from the evening support the DRC’s mission of making Detroit’s riverfront beautiful, accessible, and safe. The evening featured a live performance from Motown legends The Spinners, a food truck rally, family games and activities, and more. Long-time DRC board member Larry McLaughlin and founding board member, the late Evelyn Johnston, were honored with the Shimmer Award.
