Roncelli Family Foundation Bourbon & Bags Tournament
The Roncelli Family Foundation hosted its annual Bourbon & Bags Tournament on June 15 at the headquarters of Roncelli Inc. in Sterling Heights (6471 Metro Parkway). The event raised awareness and funds for the YMCA of Metro Detroit, the Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network, Care House Macomb, and the Detroit Parade Co. The first-place team won $5,000 and a place on the Bags and Bourbon Trophy. The second-place team won $2,500, and the third- and fourth-place teams won $1,500 each. In addition to a bags (cornhole) tournament, the event included an open bar, food trucks from The Mean Weenie, The Great Greek Food Truck, and Gambino’s Catering, bourbon tasting, cigars, live music from Dogzilla (featuring lead singer Tony Roncelli), and other backyard games. // Photographs by Patrick Gloria
