Pumps and Power 2022

The Automotive Women’s Alliance Foundation (AWAF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Troy, hosted its annual Pumps and Power event on Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Designer Shoe Warehouse in Southfield. The event raised funds to support the nonprofit’s mission of advancing and empowering women in automotive and related industries. Guests enjoyed a light dinner and beverages; remarks from Telva McGruder, chief diversity, equity, and inclusion officer at General Motors Co. and Linda Taliaferro, past president of the AWAF and founder of The Extra Effort; and discount prices for attendees. // Photographs by Patrick Gloria
