Pink Party, Benefitting Lace Up Detroit

The Pink Party, benefitting Lace Up Detroit, took place on Sept. 1 at the Ernst Benz Boutique in downtown Birmingham. The fundraising event drew 100 people and raised $35,000 for the organization’s programs. A raffle drawing and a live auction were conducted, as well. The proceeds will be used to provide new shoes — ranging from school shoes to athletic shoes to slippers — for individuals in need from preschool to adulthood.
