Paws for Life Rescue is a nonprofit, all-breed dog and cat rescue operating in Troy that has no paid staff and receives no government support. It is run by dedicated, hardworking volunteers and is a shelter partner. It rescues dogs and cats from overflowing shelters in Michigan, saving two lives, the one the organization takes and the one that needs the empty kennel space left behind.
