The North Oakland Headwaters Land Conservancy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Clarkston that seeks to preserve and enhance natural water and land resources in Oakland County. The group both acquires and preserves key properties in the area to sustain a high quality of life for present and future generations of wildlife and people. The group is working both to preserve the natural biodiversity of the area while also offering resources and sharing knowledge. The organization also hosts fundraising events such as its annual native plant spring sale scheduled for June 11.
